Return & Warranty Policy

Warranty

AMERICAN MODIFIED products has a limited 1-year warranty. The warranty starts on the date of original purchase, and ends one year after the date of original purchase. Proof of original purchase required.

- The limited warranty is against defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser. Photo documentation will be required to expedite the warranty process.

- The limited warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper installation, road hazard, accident, racing, misuse, alteration or normal wear and tear. The limited warranty does not cover vehicles used in racing or competition or vehicles with settings other than those set forth in the original manufacturer's specifications.

- The limited warranty does not cover cost of removal, installation, shipping or other incidental charges. Please check all products prior to custom painting/ fabrication or installation. A professional installation is highly recommended.

- AMERICAN MODIFIED reserves the right to repair or replace a defective product at its sole discretion.

Return/Refund Rules

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since you receive your item, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, resalable and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Shipping Fee

If we send you a different product from the one you ordered, or if the item is defective, just contact us via support@americanmodified.com with an image or video showing the case, we will process an

exchange or refund as soon as possible.

AmericanModified will cover all the return or exchange shipping fee.

Returns other than quality issues, AmericanModified is not liable for shipping fee. You will be responsible for the shipping cost to return the item to us. We may charge you a 15% restocking fee at our

discretion.

Return Shipping Method

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Return/ Refund Process

a. Please email support@ americanmodified.com to request a refund or return with image or video to show the issue.
    b. If you are approved to return, our after-sale team will reply you RAM and return instruction with warehouse address as soon as possible (usually within 1 business day).
      c. Fill the RAM we authorized for you and Included in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and your order number.

        d. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you

        are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

        Cancellations

        Cancelled orders are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. 

        Change Shipping Address

        Change Shipping Address After Ordering will be subjected to 10% cancellation fee.

        Invalid Shipping Address

        Please make sure to enter the right shipping address. We try our best to decrease handing time, so there's very small time gap to change your shipping address. Please write to

        support@americanmodified to change your address. In this case, the service fee will be charged. If it's too late and the parcel is return due to wrong address, the buyer has to pay for the return fee.

        Truck Carrier For Oversized Products

        When you order oversized product, we will ship via truck carrier. The truck carrier will call you before going out for delivery. If they return the order due to missed call, you have to pay for the shipping and

        return fee. For items shipped through a freight carrier, do not sign for or otherwise accept any items with physical damage. These items should be refused and returned to us. When you sign for a product

        on a freight shipment without notating anything, you are COMMITTING TO KEEPING THE PRODUCT IN ITS CURRENT CONDITION.

        Late Or Missing Refunds (If Applicable)

        If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

        Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

        Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
